It was the first time I'd watched an episode and even considered changing channels... oh hang on second, Rory McGrath episode was another!
I was cringing all the way through, and am glad I'm not the only one!

The Giles Brandreth episode was a bit cringeworthy too. :lol:

With Giles Brandreth I very strongly got the idea that he'd been briefed about the subject of the questions, so he had time to prepare some quite interesting facts around those. Not sure if this was the case but that was the vibe I got.
At least with last episode it made sense that the ventriloquist would know something about the history of ventriloquism.

I felt the same but I was unaware Rory McGrath was on the other channel. If I had been, I would have turned over. :lol:

Using a Dutch keyboard was fun as well, as you'd suddenly produce weird characters and not know how you'd done it.

When I used to stay at my friend's, I'd have a battle with Word until it realised that I was writing in English and not misspelling Dutch.

Thats where it is on ours too.... where is it on yours?

Just watching a repeat from the H series on Dave.

Sandi Toksvig mentioned Hans Christian Andersen put "I am not dead, I'm asleep" signs next to his bed because he feared being buried alive. Is this where Pratchett got the "I Aten't Dead" idea for Granny Weatherwax from? :?:
