Meers! Stop! Take some chocolate! :P
A poster outside one shop urged people to Dig For Victory, as if it were some kind of turnip.

Still thinking of them in Klatch, too - or was it Muntab?

This is about a very addictive quiz website that someone recently pointed out to me called Freerice.com.

You register and then you choose a category and answer the multiple choice questions. For every question that you get right, Freerice.com donate 10 grains of rice to hungry people around the world. I have checked it out and it is a genuine website. Snopes agrees.

The whole thing is paid for by the advertisers using the site. :D

The questions get progressively harder. The English Vocabulary is fun, but I enjoyed the Flags of the World and the Chemical Symbols as well.

You can try it without registering. Give it a go.

THANKS TONY!!!!!

Thats highly addictive. My fav is famous paintings.

Anyone ever play "Masterpiece" the boardgame? Gosh I used to love that game. My sister and her husband and I and friends would have a games night every Friday night with a dinner party (yay the 80's) and ALWAYS played Masterpiece. We would end up talking about art for hours and hours while we played.

That little bowl of increasing rice looks like maggots breeding.

I seriously do hope this somehow in some small way does contribute to the famine. It makes every other "natural" disaster pale into insignificance.

I hate you.

Neighbours will be looking at me funny tomorrow.

I am SO amazed that my hand automatiically picks the artist without me thinking. And on ones I get stuck on I am looking at the brushstrokes and the subtle color to see who painted it. I am very amazed at me!

And when i get it wrong its NO! NO! NO! Of COURSE it Cezanne you idiot! HOW can you not have seen that!

.... talking to myself  applauding myself  its not good...

Its wonderful :D How did I forget how much I loved these paintings.

I still hate you for this. You know how much I hate puzzley quizzey things!

I knew Tony was up to no good when he started 'Circle the Cat'! That was bad enough that I had to keep it in my games page!:evil:

Oh yeah! Do you remember his Lordship posting on numerous times how he DOESN'T post in the "games" threads... well apart from his "Daily Quiz".

Bleeding liar!

I went on this website in school before because my teacher made us all go on it. It IS educational, so it's qualified to be done in school. I'm mostly doing English Vocabulary and Math. ALL KINDS OF MATH ARE AWESOME. IT IS THE BEST SUBJECT EVER INVENTED.
