Uh... I gotta admit that although I like the legend I've never quite grown on the series. Maybe it's me growing weary of attempts to 'teenagify' everything from Sherlock to Indiana Jones.

But talking Merlin (slightly off track, sorry), anyone here watched the old mini series "Merlin" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0130414/)? I rather liked it, and despite not the coolest effects, the story is told well (just stay far far FAR away from the sequel). And if you fancy looking at some other interpretations of the Arthur legend, try get the comic "Camelot 3000", a sci.fi. trek over what would happen when Arthur is awaken somewhere far into the future (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camelot_3000). The B/W version is stunning, and story well told.

New series of Merlin starts on Saturday 1st October, immediately after the final (except for the Christmas special) episode of Doctor Who.

Morgana seems to have changed....

On the TV ads it's definitely still Katie McGrath... regrettably :roll:

I hope Morgause is coming back as well - she's much nastier :lol:

I never much liked Morgana (the actress, whassername...) - she always talks in such a soft voice and she looks as though she's going to cry any moment... But love the series!

Well, the lad will be in seventh heaven this Saturday as Doctor Who and Merlin air one after the other!

Digital Spy's Ten Teasers for the first episode: (Highlight to read)
