Somebody Stop Me!!!

Postby Tonyblack » Thu Sep 22, 2011 11:01 am

No, don't really stop me.

This is about a very addictive quiz website that someone recently pointed out to me called Freerice.com.

You register and then you choose a category and answer the multiple choice questions. For every question that you get right, Freerice.com donate 10 grains of rice to hungry people around the world. I have checked it out and it is a genuine website. Snopes agrees.

The whole thing is paid for by the advertisers using the site. :D

The questions get progressively harder. The English Vocabulary is fun, but I enjoyed the Flags of the World and the Chemical Symbols as well.

You can try it without registering. Give it a go.
Look, you've got it all wrong! You don't NEED to follow ME, You don't NEED to follow ANYBODY! You've got to think for your selves! You're ALL individuals!
Yes! We're all individuals!

Thanks Tony I'm addicted now
Getting an education was a bit like a communicable sexual disease. It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on.

Oh my, that is so true. IT IS ADDICTIVE!!!!
I played the English dictionary but at round 14 it started with words I don't know so I got annoyed and changed subject.
I didn't try yet the literature or paintings ones, but I sure will ! ^_^

Right now I am at 1260 grains, and still counting

3000+ and counting. But there are some very strange words in the English Vocabulary section that I had never heard of! I swear they were Americanisms. Then, at one time I thought I was reading Grecco-Roman!
:lol:. I got two of them right though!
