After Snuff.....

Postby RJH » Fri Aug 26, 2011 12:55 pm

So after Snuff what do you think the next novel will be, do you also think as the next one after Snuff is No.40 in the series it will be the last one?

Well, I don't really want to speculate on the next one until I've read this one and then I'll know who's in it and what it's really about.

I think if the next one is the last one a Death centric one that encorporates all the major characters, but not nessesarily interacting with each other would be nice. :D

Aren't the Long Earth books next on Terrys list

http://www.sfx.co.uk/2010/06/16/terry-pratchett-and-stephen-baxter-collaborating-on-the-long-earth/

in discworld theres still those few ideas floating about such as Raising Taxes and scouting for trolls .
I'd also like to see how things all turn out for Susan :D

Yeah, I'm sure Long Earth is next. Don't know much about the plot, though, so my hype-o-meter isn't very high.

I loved GP and MM. The dog with the, err, "adult" toy cracks me up everytime!!

(I'm very easily pleased!!).

MM was the only Discworld book that I'd disliked the MORE I read it. :(

I loved GP but MM felt like hard work. I've never been tempted to pick it up again. But each to their own. My stapler is resting quite safely on my desk 8)

I have vowed that if Terry ever decides (as some people think he should) to make Moist the Patrician, I will never read another DW book again.

Bwa ha ha ha ha. I shouldn't worry Tony, that's the single most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. And I used to moderate a Harry Potter forum

*holds out hand* The same, nice to meet you.

I don't know what to think of the idea of having a novel after snuff...
Not even sure if I will buy that one at all...
Honestly The first paragraph of Thud ruined all the positive expectations I had with it after the sample reading in Australia. :(

Not to mention I don't WANT to read another novel set in the same reality as UA and MM.
Same reality as GP? TLC? Truth? Yes please, but UA and MM? No thank you.
