Just found this site via Discworld Monthly, I am an Engineer with an interest in Mr Pratchetts works.

Mainly Discworld but liked some of His other work, especially Good Omens.........cracking Book!

My favourites in the Discworld series are the Watch Books, Sam Vimes rules ( but don't tell Vetinari !! ).

Nobby Nobbs and Fred Colon are my next favourites ( remind me of Laurel and Hardy for some reason ) but all are fun to read about.

Just popped in to say Hi. PS anyone know if there are any Fancy Dress supplier who do Watch uniforms or other Discworld gear?

Welcome to the site!

Not sure about Watch uniforms - most of the ones I've seen at various events have been made. If you know someone who does Civil War re enacting, then you've got most of the uniform there.

Fans are incredibly inventive when it comes to costumes.

They have been researching and dressing Discworld characters for a very long time - only on a much, much, smaller scale!

If they haven't got what you want they are absolutely the best place to make it for you.

Made up a Rincewind outfit for a Halloween Party last year and won first prize when a mate went round and everyone voted on whom had the best costume.

I believe some people 'knit' chainmail - chunky metalic wool on large needles - but I am no expert.

Its only early days but they already have loads of costumes, and an intimate working knowledge of Discworld.

I think its only a matter of time before a specialised Discworld section ought to appear on their site!
