Long after the book has been read........

There are some passages from Sir Terry's books that have such an impact that the imagery really embeds in your brain.

So what image/images stick most vividly in your mind, that you can really see?

For me, it's Tiffany dancing with the bees.

(just realised this belongs in the DW novels forum)

Vimes going on his dwarf rampage while quoting Where's My Cow. That always gives me a chill. The other one is the Disorganiser giving the death roll in Jingo. :D

That stuck in my mind as well, and I always thought this music actually fitted it. Perhaps given what Vimes feels he has done to Little Sam, the title of the music, Betrayal, kinda fits.

Granny playing cards with the hustlers in Witches Abroad.
The end of Going Postal when the wizard in Genua reads out the message about how the Grand Trunk was stolen.
"Disliking Carrot would be like kicking a puppy."
"You kicked a puppy," Lobsang said accusingly.

Rincewind using the bullroarer in The Last Continent.

Myra LeJean committing suicide in a vat of chocolate, and her soul being collected by Death in Thief of Time.

That whole sequence on Night Watch where a young Downey terrorises a rather calm and collected student and destroys his rare camouflage book. And even Vetinari, at such a young age, is calm and collected, relatively speaking.
