fan boyism...

Postby Strakhov » Sat Jul 30, 2011 12:23 pm

is this the place to be if you want to thank Sir Terry for the work he's done?
For the laughs and pleasure he's brought into my reading life for almost 20 years now...? for short nights throughout those years and incredibly long toilet breaks...for writing stuff that is so unbelieveble enjoyable that i've read my collection at least 3 times already..

If so...thank you...
if this isn't the place...well, someone pass on the message pls?
it's not much but what more is there to say?

Welcome to the site, Strakhov! :D

I think all of here would agree with you.

Sadly, we don't know if Terry reads this forum. He's not a member here, but he'd be welcome if he ever wanted to join.

I read Discworld on the toilet as well.

Totally agree. :P

Not me ! ;)

I read them once and they stick in my memory so hard I just can't get the glue out ! ;)

Now that's what I call a "sticky memory" ! ;)

But I do read my favourite ones at least three times, that's right. ;)
(The Maurice book, for example.)

Welcome, anyway. ;)
