selling books

Not sure whether this should be in childrens books or here but...

Anyone had experience in taking books to a sceond hand book sellers?

When I went to Pentecostal Sunday School, I was given books as prizes. They are of a Christian bent, as you would expect. All except one has a dust jacket and all are in good condition for their age. They are date stamped 1967/1968/1969)/1970 and all the book plates are made out to me. All are 1st Editions.

Despite going to the Lutterworth (1967) and Victory (rest) publishers, I can find nothing on the Authors.

Is it worth taking them to a book sellers/e-bay/Amazon or should I just keep them? I don't read them. On Amazon two sellers have totally different prices, £250 and £1.50 respectively!

Hi Meer , I've had dealings with these in the past and they carry a great range and are interested in all childrens book. You can send in the form and they'll give you a quote at least. I've bought and sold with them and they were fair

Wait until they put DRM on printed books to prevent them from being sold in used condition, too !

It would not matter, if some one is looking for a book and it comes up they will still buy regardless.
