Discworld_Lord welcome to the forum, and being where you live will you be going to the Worldcon in Montreal.
He willnae tak' a drink! I think he's deid! , on the other hand though A Midgie in yir hand is worth twa up yir kilt.

I didn't know there was one there, WWD, but I'm afraid I probably won't. When is it? Exams are coming up in just a couple weeks...

Anticipation will be held in Montréal, Quebec, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal from August 6th - 10th, 2009.

What is Anticipation?
The 2009 World Science Fiction Convention will gather thousands of people from around the world for five days of activities and events. In addition to our All-Star guests, we will have more than five hundred authors, artists, and creators spending five fabulous days with the fans they love. We’ll have panels, workshops, exhibits, events, and activities to delight fans of science fiction and fantasy. The Worldcon is a convention for fans, and it’s run by fans.

Anticipation is simply the place to be this August.
