Thanks for the advice all. I have a HTC Legend.

Yeah Dots I was worried about memory. For instance there is an app for google and youtube.... why would I need to take up room in my phone if I can just connect from the net for that?

I have extra memory on a card thingie but I don't seem to be able to find out how to choses if to put the app on the phone of the card.... read the online intruction manual so much my eyes are crossed. I guess I should google some forums about apps and the problems etc, but not everyone who writes on them are that clever at times I have found.

STILL trying to download my phone pics to the computer..... so many people have rolled their eyes at me (you know that lil condecending look) then struggled themselves and ended up doing a Dawn French thing and slamming the laptop shut :D :D :D

I better investigate that one too. Its frustrating me. I need to find a big enough bribe to get the teen to do it.

I will get there..... dammit I will.

No idea. Sounds worth a google though.
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

What I think you can do is go to your kindle on amazon and send the book to another linked device like your phone or ipad. i know I somehow I managed to get the same book on all 3 devices so I must have done something like that at some time.

just sync your phone and computer together and it should do it automatically
measuring intelligence by exam results is like measuring digestion by turd length

ummmmmmmmmmmm..... right! :?

You know what... years ago a teen son of one of my friends made a liiving charging people $10 to go around after they had moved and set up their TV, vid player, game stations, etc. Not bad for ten minutes work.

The people in the phone shops couldn't car less once they have sold you the phone.

There is definitely a hole in the market for an entrepreneurial person to hold people hands tech wise.

Dated a guy a few years ago who charged $500 an hour to do it. But then he also installed the house systems.

I DO plug my phone into my computer and something flashes for a microsecond on the screen then disappears into the ether.

I have opened every damn file on the computer and can't find anything.

Go on to the HTC support website del, and ask a question there, and you can download your phones full manual.
