Well I'll never give up. I hope that there are still some die hards out there.

Hope so. I paid a king's ransom for a used original issue Thud! game that I've never played since the kids have no interest.

I have three different Thud sets and took part in the first ever thud tounament back in 2002 but don't have any opponents any more :( As I said I've looked at the forum a few times but as there never seemed to be anyone around gave up on it as everyone else seemed to have done. Besides I like playing face to face and have never got on with postal chess so forum thud doesn't appeal. I haven't been to one of Bernards events for a few years, although I would like to go again sometime.
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

If you take one set to Birmingham in 2012, and teach me the rules, I'll play against you
Getting an education was a bit like a communicable sexual disease. It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on.

Look, you've got it all wrong! You don't NEED to follow ME, You don't NEED to follow ANYBODY! You've got to think for your selves! You're ALL individuals!
