Pre-Eric Discussion

Technically speaking, this isn't a pre-Eric discussion any more.
I've lived for over 2000 years, and not all of them were good ones. I've made many mistakes. And it's about time I did something about that.

I've ordered a secondhand copy from Amazon.

I'm so impressed with Kindle that I'm going to buy one tomorrow, then not be able to read the books I want to read, so order them in paper format from Amazon and throw the Kindle away.

You really should be a salesperson Bouncy.

It seems to be the only one of Terry's that isn't available. Perhaps because of the illustration element?

You can't get illustrations on kindle?

Anyway, it's available without illustrations. 8)

To derail the thread yet again, I'm really annoyed with ereaders at the moment. I wanted to get one for Mr Dotsie, but they're either too expensive (Sony), they don't support the overdrive software that the library uses (Kindle, Cybook), or I can't bloody find it anywhere (Kobo)

He's getting a sticker book instead. More fun. I'm sure he'll be chuffed.

I know it is. I've never see the illustrated one.

I may have to drop the fragrant Lindsay a line. She got mentioned in despatches in the front of Christopher Fowler's latest Bryant & May book.

Illustrious company that girl keeps!!

He's not keen on tablets, he just wants something not too expensive with e-ink, like Kobo would do if I could just find one  I dunno, he's a bit picky with his tech, if it was a tablet it would have to be an iPad2. If I got him something untested by him that would be a no-no.

Thanks for the tip tho :)
