So this thread has been prompted by comments from some users that they don't like pictures of things like spiders, butterfies and 'creepy crawlies' in general. If you fall into this category please don't read any further or if you do then on your head be it.

A daddy long legs (Crane Fly).

Not the reduced rear wings that have turned into the little 'drum stick' like appendages that serve the purpose of gyroscopes and allow the insect to maintain its appropriate flight attitude.

Those are really good photo's.

I don't like the insects when they are fluttering around me but don't mind pictures of them. Especially the daddy long legs as you can't tell what it is.

Reminds me of that sf bugs film burgerit I've forgotten the name of it. :shock: was on the tip of my wossis name. :)

Cheers! What you miss is the quality of a good print. At 72dpi screen resolution you will never get the full quality on here.

You'll be able to get this quality and better when you get your 100mm.
