I once read LOTR in one go. I started before breakfast and had finished at about midnight (I didn't bother with the appendices though

I don't want to finish it fast, because then I'd have to find something new to read. :S

I used to be able to read books that I didn't really enjoy, but now if it's not AMAZING I get bored if it...I don't know what's wrong with me, LOL.

Tried Simon R. Green's new ghost hunter series, and struggled to get through it. He just doesn't do subtle, does he?

I'm expecting that when I pick up a Nightside or Secret Histories book, but was hoping for something different with this one. Not only is it not subtle, it's just ridiculously over the top.
