1st/1st Once More With Footnotes for sale

Postby ColinEdwards » Sat Oct 31, 2009 12:21 pm

I have deided to sell my (unsigned) first printing/first edition Once More with Footnotes and would like to know:

a) what its real value is rather than the prices I have seen on eBay, which are confusing to say the least!

and

b) would anyone here like to buy it before I go the eBay route! PM me.

I also have unsigned original proofs of the Truckers trilogy books if anyone is interested. And a UK proof of Wintersmith - though this was signed and dedicated to me by Terry.

I'm open to offers; leaky roof forces sale!

Thanks! Colin

I'd guess 150-200 pounds for the "Once More"

How much do you want for the 3 Truckers proofs?
"Disliking Carrot would be like kicking a puppy."
"You kicked a puppy," Lobsang said accusingly.

Abebooks have two of the three of the Truckers trilogy for sale at around £150 each but PM for any enquiries about cost of proofs, I'd rather not discuss them in public, and I'd be happier they were sold to a true collector than to a dealer.

If anyone is interested in fun and interesting Stamps I still have some HALLOWEEN STAMPS available on eBay, but there are not many left now. I would link to them if I knew how but I am a bit of a dinosaur so you'll just have to do a search for 'Halloween stamps' - they are the only ones there :-) Not to be confused with Discworld stamps!

Ask at least £300 for it to start because the cheapest I seen for sale has been £350 the highest a lot more, but a book is only worth what a buyer is willing to pay for it, but for some they just want it regardless good luck with your sale.

If anyone wants to check out the books I'm selling on ebay.

Here is the link -

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/bookgamer/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686

There is new stuff added often and I may list my unwanted DW books soon.

Is this the right place for Kindle books? I've dropped the price for June on my book - only 69p or $0.99!

______________________________

Robert, a keen young time-travelling historian from the year 2361 AD, is out of his depth. His mission is to spend six weeks learning about a community of Mesolithic humans living near ancient Kents Cavern. Dropped into a world of violence, rape, ugly death and harsh retribution, six weeks suddenly seems like a very long time.

Yana, devastated after the death of her beloved father, has a bleak future before her. A mating to a man she despises, a baby every year, ending only with inevitable death after a short and brutal life. But when charismatic stranger Robert comes to her village, her life changes irrevocably.

Expressly forbidden from intimate contact by Chrono-HQ directives, Robert must try to suppress his unwelcome and unexpected feelings for Yana. When the six weeks draw to a close, heart-broken Yana can't live without him. She goes after him, only to see him step through the time portal and vanish. Uncomprehending, she follows, only to find herself in the twenty-first century, bewildered, lost and utterly alone.

Now Robert and his contemporaries must find her and send her back before irreversible damage is done to the timeline.
