Oh, btw something I've found that helps is a browser add-on called WOT (Web of Trust) which users can rate a site on the 4 categories of Trustworthiness, Vendor reliability, Privacy and Child safety. It will warn you if any of the sites you visit have been reported as unsafe in any of these categories and all sites will have an overall rating as well as a more detailed scorecard available for you to check out.

The only downside is that if you click on to a site with no ratings yet then you will have no score to go on (though you wouldn't have that without the software so I don't know if you can really call that a downside).

The annual hoax about Mars approaching it's closest to Earth for several hundred years is doing the rounds again. :x It started in August 2003 when Mars did get a bit closer but not so close 'It will look as big as the moon when viewed through binoculars'. Yet another waste of highway space!
I think the answer lies in the soil, ooo arrr!

On the subject of Mars, here's a sequence of photos I took when Venus was close to the moon and I zoomed in closer and closer. Imagine my surprise when I downloaded the last one from the camera to my computer:

Moon & Venus

Moon

Oh my word!

I'd love to know how much commission Armstrong, Aldrin & Co were on littering up the landing sites like that!

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this or not (can't read six pages!!), but I always check these things out with Snopes.
