well i get one or two of the obvious ones such as Priscilla and the beer stuff and of course the Ned ones . Pretty sure i missed a few but with this book i love the mixing of religion and evolution more than the aussie references but hey thats just me. :D Ponder is also brilliant in this book and you can see him finding his niche in the faculty

Agreed. Ponder undergoes a hell of a lot of character development in this book. I'm surprised he didn't break earlier and give the other wizards hell before. But then again, what he manages to do by the events of Unseen Acdemicals is pretty good. :)

I'm pretty sure that I don't have the motivation to do Carpe Jugulum. So I'll leave this book-reading blog for the time being.

*BUMP*

I am seriously considering starting this up again. I may not in the event, but it may be soon, so watch this space. I'll be starting with the book I left off at, Carpe Jugulum.

Well if you do start again I for one would be very interested. I enjoyed your reviews of the books and they prompted me to pick up a few again.
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

Yeah go for it Q :D I know I didn't comment v. much in here but it's always interesting seeing other's reactions to books you think you're familiar with - gives you a new perspective on it

What she said.

No pressure though Q. Don't do it because WE said to. Only if you FEEL like it.

Actually, I'd prefer encouragement than applause.

Though I'd prefer money to either. :P

*Bazinga*

But with all due seriousness, reviving this is still a tentative thing. I need to build up the motivation for it. I might lose interest in doing this for another little while.

Well how about reviving your germ/virus thread then. I loved that.
