Is there a Movie?

Postby Juan José » Sun Apr 26, 2009 11:11 pm

I only have a question, you know I live far away from you, so I would like to know: is there any Discworld movie...?I mean, a good discworld movie?
...or a movie based in any Terry's book?
:) Thanks :)

Hold up there, pardner.

What these fellows aren't telling you, Juan, is that we CAN'T see them!

Correct, we're in North America which is not Region 1 (UK), so our Region 2 DVD players won't play them since the movies were formatted differently.

I have a DVD of Hogfather.
Nice pictures on the case.

Hi Trish, round the wrong way I am afraid.

The US is region 1 and the UK is region 2.

The US region 1 version of The Color (sic) of Magic is due for release on July 14th.

The US region 1 version of Hogfather has been available for some time.

I've got a US copy of Johnny and the Dead on DVD and Acorn Media released both Soul Music and Wyrd Sisters on US DVD.

Don't know about Johnny and the Bomb as that was released by the BBC in the UK and Truckers may be too old as it was only ever released on VHS. Though I have heard rumours that a DVD release may possibly happen some time in the future.

Hope that helps.
