Pratchett Shorts

Postby Tonyblack » Thu Apr 14, 2011 4:05 pm

The following are a few Pratchett short stories that Terry has authorised to be on the internet.

Theatre of Cruelty
A Collegiate Casting-Out of Devilish Devices

There are others out there, but please don't post them unless they are authorised by the erm... author.

What about Run, Rincewind, Run? :)
I've lived for over 2000 years, and not all of them were good ones. I've made many mistakes. And it's about time I did something about that.

That's a film made by a group of Australian fans isn't it? :? I didn't think there was a short story about it.

They're called Snowgum Films and they've been working (for quite a few years now) on a film adaptation of Terry's short story, Troll Bridge.

Oh, sorry. When you said 'shorts', I thought you meant short films. My bad.

I love that ending of Run, Rincewind, Run!, where he confronts Terry. Doesn't he say "You bastard."?

Yes indeed! I know those two people sitting next to Terry. That the real Sandra Battye (Nightwatch) and the real Undecided Adrian (Going Postal).

Talking of odd ones. I remember the first time I read 'Incubust'. I thought there was an error and the whole story hadn't been printed. Once you get the joke though it's very good.

Yes the one for the Drabble Project, the rules for that book was that every story had to be exactly 100 words. Considering the constraint, it's a good little story. :)
