It was a good tribute, pity they didn't get Tom Baker on as well. But for a hastily made programme it was really well done and had just the right mix of sorrow at her death and celebration of her life.

I suppose this means that Sarah Jane has died in the doctor who universe as well

EXTREMELY good question.

Surely, it will just stop after whatever the last episode she managed to film?

I don't know, like I said earler Clyde Langer is a great character and that young lad is a very good actor, I think he could carry it. They could bring in another old companion of the Doctors?. But maybe they won't call it the SJA's. Who knows :)

I was thinking about how they could continue. Maybe bring that original girl and her dad back from America, He knows all about what is going on. But I can't really see that working. :?

I don't see that happening for a long time,it would seem heartless if they announced next week that they've started filming the Jo Grant adventures or something similar.

A thought that crossed my mind was that there will now be a demand for classic Dr Who on CBBC,probably not going to happen but that would be a wonderful way to celebrate the Sarah Jane legacy.

Elisabeth Sladen's autobiography is due out on Monday. I wonder if it will still come out or if it will get pulled so they can add an extra chapter. I remember the racing driver Graham Hill's autobiography being held back after he was killed in the plane crash just before it was due to be published.

They said she was very private about her cancer, but I can't imagine she didn't tell the producers of the show she had cancer, and that they knew about it.

Wish I could have seen the tribute. Nothing here about it being shown when we get the new episode of Dr Who.

Apparently they filmed the first 6 parts of the next series of Sarah Jane Adventures at the end of the last one so there are episodes that haven't been broadcast yet. No suggestion I can find as to when or if they will appear.

I got a little tearful on Saturday when I watched it, but I got the severe pox with it when they played "She" at the end.

Crass or what.
