That seemed to me to be a lot more about his species than the shamefulness of whatever they were engaged in. Anyway, I doubt Carrot slept with her since he'd have been a lot wiser to what was going on in Mrs Palm's establishment had he already had some "significant" interaction with females.

His first time with Angua was his first time ever, so no doing it with Minty.

This was probably not something he was going to write to his parents about. They almost certainly knew.

If we assume that Minty was the same age as Carrot, then his advances might have been inappropriate, as it seems that humans are sexually mature a long time before dwarfs. Dwarfs are very long lived and I seem to remember that they aren't sexually mature until they are in their 40s (I think).

It's no wonder that Minty's parents were concerned and it's seems to have been the main reason that Carrot was sent away.

How did that slip my mind? Anyway, there's no might about it. Dwarfs are considered old enough to know the birds and the bees at 55 so his actions would've done a lot more than raise eyebrows. This suggests even more strongly he didn't do anything inappropriate but was suspected of being capable of doing so

Yes, one can only imagine the meeting between Carrot's parents and Minty's.

Actually, I think it was more to do with rascism. An obvious human trying to get fresh with a dwarf. You know what the drargs would have said.

The Oggs having some dwarf in them and Casununda having avoided getting lynched by more conventional dwarfs suggest to me that interspecies romance isn't very high on their list of offences.

Yeah, but, Carrot? I'd have to think twice about allowing that! But I don't think Minty was all that keen anyway (can't remember why, don't have my book to hand).

That's the impression that I got regarding Minty. Carrot was just being a pest.

Drargs are the result of inter-breeding between Dregs and Grags.

Talking about grags. Do you reckon Bashful is going to become the model for grags from here on out since he's very close to the Low King. If we're sticking with the social commentary inherent to the Disc we're likely to see AM grags distancing themselves from Uberwald grags with a few radical popping up in AM ever now and then
