Not to mention blatant self-plagiarism. Like that 'sue my face for slander' joke that later made its way into The Colour of Magic. The imagination was there, to a degree, but the plot and characters? Ugh...
I gave Strata 6.5/10, which basically means 'mediocre'. Good Omens I gave 8/10 to, which means 'above the norm'. Unseen Academicals I gave 8.5/10, which means 'get it now'. Nation was 9/10, or 'a keeper'. And I Shall Wear Midnight got 10/10. Nuff said.
BTW, I gave these books ratings because I read them for a book-reading blog that I did on another BBS.
