Bernard Pearson (aka The Cunning Artificer) has announced the date for The Spring Fling 2011 in Wincanton, Somerset.

Some of you may not know that Wincanton is officially twinned with Ankh-Morpork, has it's own Consulate (and Discworld Shoppe) and regularly holds meet ups for fans of Terry Pratchett.

If you are thinking of going, you'll need to find accommodation as it quickly becomes unavailable.

Isn't that an old sign. When I went to the hogswatch event it wasn't justa sticker in the corner but just how the other real places looked!

Yes, I think it is an old one. I was having trouble finding a decent sized picture of the new sign. But here's one.

Dave Hayden was mentioned in Unseen Academicals if I remember correctly.
