I think a birthday thead is a great idea--and should be limited to members of the Forum (not children, spouses, etc.). The only problem I can see with using one single thread and posting birthday greetings on it to all the people having birthdays is that is that I suspect it will go to multiple pages fairly quickly, as various people chime in to wish Happy Birthday to individuals.

But I'm sure our favorite adminstrators can figure out how to deal with that problem. Do you have birthdates, Tony & Jason, or do you want people to send them to you?

I sort of assume from Straw Walker's post (nice to see you again), that you don't have that info. And I think I may claim my place as the eldest member

I'll make a bet that after 40 people have said their birthday, at least two people will have the birthdays on the same day! (it always works)

On Hookton.com, we only have about 26 members registered for birthdays and three of them are on the same day.
