Deleted a huge spam post, but have left the topic open in case anyone wants to talk about The Tudors.

If you say something about the Tudors the thread might survive

I haven't seen season 4 of the Tudors, but I'm pretty sure it's cr*p :P

Love the costumes, hated the show.
(I never trust something that needs overly long to tell one something a different format manages to tell in far less the time and even more accurately...)

went to the Tower of London two years ago and went to the Henry VIII dressed to kill section and it was amazing and interesting . Have been told it was more entertaining and informative than all the Tudor episodes put together.

Hiya,

yeah, thats why its classed as a Costume Drama, not a Historical Documentary :)

Did feel rather sad for the silly Queen Katherine.

Cheers,

Hey, I kind of liked The Tudors, even if it was essentially a soap opera.

It kind of went downhill after Ann Boleyn got the axe. None of the other wives stories were nearly as interesting.

And they kept Jonathon Rhys Meyers too young and studly looking for far too long. Let's face; 'Enry became a big fat porker not too far into his reign, and little teenagers like Katherine wouldn't have been attracted to him in any way. They should have let his looks go. Of course, by doing that ratings would plummet.

It was someone trying to sell DVDs of The Tudors.
