According to Capt there are only approximately 500 million Christians in the world. That means that there are 6 billion non-Christians. Christianity is a minority myth-based cult, worshipping a mythical sky pixie.. :lol:

Well the Catholics finally accepted evolution scientifically as well as conceptually and it's taught in their schools so it's can't be that unacceptable from a faith stance. For fundamentalists it's still a bitter pill and they won't swallow it but some people do 'believe'/accept evolution but not that NASA landed on a rocket on the moon - it's just a standpoint and sometimes religion/bigotry is simply a shield for ignorance (wilfil or fearful - flip a coin) :roll:

I believe in evolution, but it has nothing at all to do with Christianity. That's like saying "kettles" where do they fit in with the Liverpool v West Ham game I'm watching at the moment. Answer is, they don't.

Good one. (think about using a poll too).

It's a case of what we know now (evolution wise) the bible HAS to FIT IN with Evolution. It is already in danger of becoming outmoded and that is a shame as it is a wonderful story, good plots and some heroic good guys.

There is a theory that the bible was written and then translated badly. Could that be why Evolution and the Church hit it off so badly?
