Just had a play about with Google Earth and Mars...... may be Google could do a Google Discworld......

I like Google earth, Mspanners. I 'find' all my pen pals houses on it. it's great fun, the ones who haven't got GE I print a copy & send it to them.
What a good idea, a Google Discworld. Some computer wizard might invent one, you never know.

Google Discworld coud be done I think as there are enough maps around to establish the Geography of the Disc... a bright 3D modeler could do it! Shame I have Nil Computing skills.............

At one time the Google Moon site was a spoof. If you zoomed in you eventually got to see a whole bunch of cheese. I'm kind of disappointed that they've made it a proper map.
