Technical Difficulties With the Forum

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with the forum site that are causing problems with loading pages and therefore returning error messages.

The owners of the site have been informed and are working on the problem. They hope to move the site to a new server eventually and this should solve the problems.

Please bear with us and try not to be put off posting here. A site like this needs loyal contributors - so hang in there! :)

No problemo chief! I'm stuck like glue here :lol:

It's settled down again now but then I've been out :shock: most of the day! It was a little slow this morning but I couldn't stay on to get frustrated. Yesterday was a nightmare though... :evil:

Tell me about it! I thought I was in but when I tried to sign in, or post ... well, Tonyblack, how are any of us supposed to get to 2000 posts with the site crashing on us all the time! :? !

It was almost enough to make me :twisted: !

Ya it has been up an down more times than a seamstresses Knickers... Tell them in charge to put the site in a better server and not a Spectrum 16K. :lol:

Do these problems only happen to certain people or is it the "new member" protection scheme? I haven't had any problems whatsoever.

I guess it depends on who busy this site is compared with the other author sites that they also host on this server. Most of the time with regular posting the server just about copes but at busy times it can't handle everything.

the raymond e fiest is exactly the same format as this forum and it has never played up like this forum. i dont know if its the same server but ive been on both pretty much the same times and this ones the only one that plays up all the time. i know its not your fault jason but your our point of contact to whinge and whine at :cry:
