Yes, I agree.

So, before picking a character look on the list please.

'ank you.

Well, we first have to ask everyone so we don't just put in a new rule, or it'll get very confusing.

can we take the rule in?

  This is very idiomatic (expressive manner of speaking grumpily) English Crys and the sort of thing that Gaspode would go around saying...

bugger this for a game of soldiers = Nope - not doing this... OR I'm off this isn't fun...

chuntered = muttering in a complaining way to nobody in particular. Apparently D.H. Lawrence 'introduced' into literature

Wiktionary had chunter

I'd rather not orchestrate the plot, as I'd probably get mixed up between Vimes and Venitari, or something, and mess everything up. :? Ponder certainly seems to have some idea though...

i do that all the time and it takes me about ten shots to get it back right.

Did i mention its good to, uh, see you all too. ImageImage

Actually, jan, i meant what are their roles as citizens of ankh-morpork?

Sounds a lot better like that. Of course you can, cheer, if crys doesnt snatch it off you.Image

I was under the impression that we would eventually get into some kind of plot, rather than a mere roleplaying centre.

I think we could definitely have some kind of plot here, as long as anyone can make one
it's just that to keep the plot going we could like to add a few characters, since we are not many here, and so someone could play another role if he/she likes it, all he/she would have to do would be to inform the others in this thread here so that noone else take that same character.
I hope this is clear, my mind goes all twisted sometimes

I think we need someone to confirm the rules. I don't know what is and what isn't anymore  Confused!
