Americans and Brits actually pronounce the word differently. :lol:

/fəʊ ˈnet.ɪk/ = UK

/foʊˈnet-/ = US

And why in italian it's Chruscev or Krusciov? Maybe it's because Russian have very 'strange' letters (although fascinating) and you must translate it in some way easy to understand so that people can at least try to read it right.. if they want to..
Chroesjtsjov is much more difficult to me than Krusciov.
