And in Heather's case, there were sometimes Third Thoughts and Fourth Thoughts, although these were quite difficult to manage and sometimes led her to walk into doors

Well, certainly Geoffrey of Monmouth, who wrote Historia Regum Britanniae, the first widely published chronicle of the Arthur story, either believed it--or he was the world's first widely published fantasy author.

oh I don't know, but it makes me wonder: how come the names Arthur and Thor are northern european and the name Hathor -sooo like them- is egyptian?
