When it comes to eating smartly and neatly, I'm King of the dunces.

Alas, my dancing is as clumsy as my eating--waltz with me and you'll need a secant to figure out where I'm going.

in that case the key is modern music, where everyone dances alone and therefore it won't matter if you decide to go for a canter or for a gallop.

True, although at a lot of clubs the music is so programmed and machinelink that the dancers look like they're moving in a trance.

Let's focus on the central point here. If it was your ball, you'd be the one deciding what music to put on, wouldn't you? Just choose the right music

Unfortunately, the kinds of music I like would most likely entrail partygoers into a series of violent disagreements.

I've got an idea: it could be a 'Discworld party', so you'll be allowed to hang on your door a sign saying "I'm the tyrant of this house, and the literal meaning of the word means that there will be no arguing or I'll throw you out!" ; nobody will take offence, people will laugh and call you Lord Raisindot

Now, that's a great idea, and one thing I'd add to it is that everyone who is taller than me will have to walk around scrunched over so I can tower menacingly over them.

I go away for five minutes and suddenly you are The King Of The Castle!!! The power had really gone to his head Crys. Oh do go on Raisin... you are a real big talker! Do you seriously believe me and Crys are going to walk around all scrunched over just because you said so? I have got a bad back mate! And we cant get down and boogie with you in that position.

Then again you might be REALLY tall...

I can relate to people with bad backs, as mine would long have ago began classified as a deadly weapon if such things were possible.

We must be related. I once wheelbarrowed and shovelled 15 big tip-truck loads of dirt to make a garden...and I even once lifted and moved a seven foot tall mahogany display cabinet across our dining room with the hubby. Now I am hesitate to bend down to pick up the kids toys.

Does this mean we dont have to bow before you?
