So far I only found 1 :P
A poster outside one shop urged people to Dig For Victory, as if it were some kind of turnip.

 I 'm not playing anymore!

It is spoiling my fun in the forum so I have decided to bow out! I MAY MAY MAY start scanning again .... oneday (most probably the day before the comp ends and I will be bald and weeping if I DO do it then)....

Just too much work over the next few days and SO exhausted after I get home and do the kid thing.

Where's my ball?

Two of them are pretty obvious. del already gave the game away with one, but there was another that I happened to spot that was hiding in plain sight.

However, I ain't participating. I'm not masochistic enough to go through this.
I've lived for over 2000 years, and not all of them were good ones. I've made many mistakes. And it's about time I did something about that.

You know, my first encounter with the word 'sadist' was reading the novelisation of Doctor Who: The Invasion by Ian Marter. One of the first Doctor Who novels I ever read. It was also my introduction to 'bloody hell' (as in "Bazookas! Where the bloody hell are you?" It makes sense in context) and 'bastard'. I was eight years old at the time, although luckily, 'bastard' didn't stick. 'Sadist' was in the original story as transmitted, but Ian Marter was infamous for putting in expletives into his novelisations, not to mention making the violence more explicit. He describes the victim of a Cyberman's laser as having a face like melted toffee papers...

Yes you can hide links behind smileys - look at the very first post in this thread where I give an example.

Well I thought I'd checked all yesterdays posts - there were flippin loads - but I only found one (and another that I apparently wasn't looking for), so I have to bow out. Sorry :( But there really aren't enough hours in the day

Del honey, try not to pop anything
What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!
