19/21 - I'm a bit disappointed, because I actually knew one of the ones I got wrong after I checked the answers. (Well, after I checked the answers I knew all the ones I got wrong. What I meant was, it was one I thought I should have remembered before I saw the answer.)

I think Terry himself said that Stephen Briggs knew more about the disc that he did himself.

I have my doubts about question 10, though... there is no such person as Dr Horace Worble. There is however a Dr Horace Worblehat.

You scored as a Carrot Ironfounderson
You are Captain Carrot Ironfounderson of the City Watch in the greatest city on the Disc – Ankh-Morprok! A truly good natured, honest guy, who knows everyone, and is liked by all. Technically a dwarf, but only by adoption. You’d rather not be reminded that you are the true heir to the throne, but that does explain why people naturally follow your orders…

You scored as Commander Samuel Vimes

You are Samuel Vimes! Captain of Ankh-Morpork's city Watch! You are a knight, married to the very wealthy, noble lady Sybil Ramkin. You often walk the streets at night, and are able to tell where you are by the feel of the cobbles under your boots. You always do what is right that is, what needs to be done to keep the city safe, even when it seems bad.

(How come Tony? He's not my most favourite character, but he's not my least favourite either!)

You mean Carrot?

Well after Guards! Guards! where Terry used him as a means to show the reader what Ankh-Morpork looks like from an outsider's point of view, Terry then doesn't seem to know what to do with him.

So he changes the character and gives him a love interest and we all know that Angua is far more interesting than Carrot.

His character just doesn't work because Terry has set too many limits on him. I also don't like the fact that we are constantly told that everyone loves Carrot. Why? Just because I'm told that doesn't mean that I have to like him too.

It's clear from the later books that Terry still doesn't know what to do with him, so he's stuck him in the background. And Vimes and Angua are the main people we see the Watch through.

But I could go on knocking Carrot all day long.

I have to agree that Vimes and Angua are far more interesting characters in the Watch than Carrot. But still. He's a likeable lad! ;D
