I'll be popping in there too HN :D I think the railway's a must see because it's pre-RS ;)

Am going to be washing and painting the Great A'tuin table all the rest of this week so it's looks all shiny - lots of tusks that have been knocked off by comet (dog) tails to stick back on as well!

Exclusive preview of the central set banner for Strangely Fascinating (a Quite Interesting panel game for Discworld ;) ) at the Convention -

If you're going to the Convention and want to go 'backstage' for this event we're going to be having a rehearsal on Saturday morning around 10 am and will be setting up in The Dysk from around 2:30 pm (after the Guest of Honour interview) if you'd like to come along and help us set up - we welcome extra SF Elves with open arms

More details on how to volunteer HERE on the Strangely Fascinating topic ;)

I will be taking my Guards Guards board game up with me. Anyone fancy arranging a game? Maybe with a drink? ;)

Really bad news Tino :(

Have you managed to offload your convention membership and hotel costs?

Whenever the next DW Con is, do we get advanced warnings on her about when tickets are about to go on sale? I'd love to have gone this time, should have known tickets were as sought after as this tho. I underestimated the demand :(

They keep the same website going (the con planning committee operates as Star Turtle) but in past years I think the next convention's generally announced around Hogswatch weekend at the end of November (so about 18 months before). I think you can just subscribe to the news feed on there and you should get advance notice of new dates etc :D

If you look in on this forum or the Cunning Artificer's there's usually some news up about the next one - hope this helps a little ;)

That's a shame Tino, I had to do the same last time.

@ Discworldpadawan pm Tino and ask to buy his if he has not put on the waiting list as you don't need to be on the list if the ticket holder wishes to transfer it.

Thanks for that Jan, yes that would deffinately help to be more prepared for next time. And Dug, that would have been an awesome idea, hadn't expected the opportunity to obtain a ticket so easily by someone pulling out on here, but I don't even have enough holiday hours in work to book the time off now!! Poor planning on my part all round!!!
