Well - he was looking to be in reasonably good fettle in Wincanton at the weekend. He wasn't on stage for too long, but he did sing us a music hall style song with some panache, so hopefully it is just a matter of being sensible and not overdoing stuff anymore like most people in their mid-60s with any chronic ailment(s) would be doing anyway. :shifty:

As heart attacks go this one was more to do with his rumbly stomach bug, not a lot of rest and arrhythmia which isn't necessarily life-threatening if identified and medicated properly. Like the man says - will be listening to his medics more attentively now. :?

I won't believe it was a heart attack as such.

I'm going to believe it was the trans-perambulation of pseudo-cosmic anti-matter (Thank You Robert Rankin!) and a dodgy meal that caused it.

Oh, the irony, if his heart gave out instead of his brain.

Take it easy, pTerry.
Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them.

The rest of us are a bit crap.

It's scary... :( I'm glad he feels better now, though!
