We can have a day-glo themed wedding. :D Seeing you, Dot, Jan and all the other lovely wimmin in the brightest of bright day-glo will really set Pooh off, won't it? (Or send him into spasms of- joy.)

Don't think mC will concede to that though!

I must be told this love story I wasn't present for! This isn't a reeally long ongoing joke, is it? Is this the first forum romance?

EEEEEEE! I have signed up! I can't wait! Why is August 2012 so far away?! I've never been to one of these before, and I don't know anyone, but I thought what the heck, discworld fans are bound to be crazy and fantastic people, so, I shall tootle along and have fun. Any hints/tips on what to expect? How to behave? lol

i don;t know that many either. But it'll be great to meet you. I'll be the LONA lurking in the corner!

I'll be interested in the replies as I'm not certain how to behave in Rotterdam, so the more info the better!

Just be yourself Meerkat and let the lunacy wash over you. I've been to several of these now and the more you go to the more fun it is especially when you start meeting people you recognise :)

It isn't an ongoing joke  It's a proper romance :D

Aww. I'm so glad, Sjoerd. :D I didn't mean to be insulting, by the way, it's just that I have friends who carry out odd, very believable, long-running, entirely false relationships on facebook (and real life :?). But I'm such a sucker for romance and love stories! Is it too nosy to ask how it happened?

I bought a wig today! it's really lush - silvery grey and 60 cm long  Now all I have to do is get a vaguely medieval-style dress but the plastic is in shock atm
