Need help. Is anyone out there with any unwanted Pratchetts - unlikely I know but my house burned down 3 days before my birthday & amongst the 700+ books destroyed was my complete collection! Am distraught!
The only one I have is Unseen Academicals, bought on my last visit to UK.
So if anyone has any to spare, I will be eternally grateful.
My resources are limited, but however when my house is rebuilt I can offer bed, booze & board in a small village on the banks of the Rhone! :cry:

Welcome to the site, angaval! I'm sorry that you lost your collection (and your home of course) - that must really hurt. Sadly I don't have any spares at the moment as I've already given away all the extra copies I had.

Good luck with getting replacements though.

Thanx for good wishes. Wasn't hurt by fire. Just stood outside watching all my past life disappear while waiting for firemen to turn up. Took them 45 mins.
First on site asked me where the water was then bumbled around looking for it
Deputy mayor turned up in suit, tie, crisp shirt, showered, shaved & smeling like rose - this at 4am. Reminded me of Lord Vetinari! :roll:

So sorry to hear about the loss of your house and library. I lost my library once. Now I only collect TP and one or two others. And I have none to spare I am sorry... Only have a few DW actually (thank goodness the adult daughters DW books were here when her house burnt down). But I get my fixes from the library.

so sorry to hear that. Try putting in ads in local papers and maybe even write to charity shops nearby? Don't have any spare books sorry.

I have a few extra TP books. They are paperback and have the American covers but you can have them if you want.
