Possible legal issues?

Postby N1v3n » Tue Jun 22, 2010 8:43 pm

There have been so many times when reading a Pratchett, that I've read a phrase or sentence and thought 'that would be a great band name' or 'that would be a great album/song title'.

What would happen if I ever did? I don't think Sir Terry would mind, but do you think his legal people would?

I think that if anyone approached Terry and asked his permission, he'd problably say it was fine.

It's when people don't ask him that he gets miffed. :)
Look, you've got it all wrong! You don't NEED to follow ME, You don't NEED to follow ANYBODY! You've got to think for your selves! You're ALL individuals!
Yes! We're all individuals!

I think it is legal as long as the context isn't copyrighted.
