Welcome from me too!

I read the tiffany series when i was eight, my dad gave m the colour of magic after i'd finishd them, but took it away after such questions as "What does bugger mean?". I got it back when i was ten, and have loved it ever since

I'm going to need a swat team, ready to mobilize, street maps covering the whole of florida, a pot of coffee, 12 jammy dodgers and A FEZ.

So between the ages of 8 and 10 you discovered a naughty word dictionary?

"You kicked a puppy," Lobsang said accusingly.

Hehe, ta muchly for all the welcomes!
My sister is autistic and can't read, so instead of spending loads of money and buying her the Audio-CD's, I'm spending loads of time reading them out loud onto my own CD's, because she wants to know what all the fuss is about.

That sounds awesome. I am sure she'll love that. Also, check out the following link: LibriVox

Full of people who post books that they've read online. You can find classics and modern lit. as well. Tons of variety.

Also, once you're done reading Pratchett, you could upload your own audio files there for others to enjoy. Cheers.

You can only download or upload books that are in the Public Domain on Librivox - that doesn't include Discworld. :)

Can't believe I forgot about that. Ah well. You can always share it amongst your friends then. Cheers.

I had a friend who was heavily into Discworld, although at the time i had only heard of it.

She lent me a copy of Lords and Ladies, and I giggled my way through it (I love Herne the Hunted!) and was hooked!

Cheers, Vena
