Where does that guy live? Does he know there's a wee thing called a CREDIT CRUNCH at the moment...

BTW I have some of the UU specials and nothing but nothing would make me get rid of them!

Good luck with the sale Pooh! Why on earth would anyone highlight such a rare book? Even if it is in day-glo pink. :roll:

I hope you don't mind that I put a link to the sale on the eBay thread on the Cunning Artificer board. :D

And the price they want for postage bit of a rip off.

Have you read "The Book of William" by Paul Collins? It's his story of going around the world in search of Shakespeare First Folios. He finds numerous copies that its 17th and 18th century owners highlighted, doodled in, spilled tea on, ripped out the pages for notepaper, and used as glorified coasters and table-levelers.

I used to have Terrys golf ball typewriter that he wrote Strata, Dark side of the Sun (?) and the first few discworld novels on, before he got his first PC. Gave it to my daughter as a twentyfirst birthday present and her boyfriend chucked it in a skip!!!!!! :(

Ta Discworldaholic, but I can't ammend it because someone's bid.

There isn't an ISBN number, but there are these numbers;

Limited edition: 1 85286 330 7
Hardcover edition: 1 85286 331 5
Trade edition: 1 85286 332 3
