Wee Free Men film

Postby Who's Wee Dug » Wed Nov 06, 2013 10:32 pm

They talked a bit or hinted about this at WFCon interview with Rob Brown and Terry&Rob.
Rhianna announced the news via Twitter that she is adapting The Wee Free Men. :D :D

That's fantastic!

Gawd I'm thick. I asked if that was Rhianna the singer. I was thinking, how strange? But she's TP's daughter of course.

I catch up eventually.

Dug's too tall.

This would be fabulous, if it happens. Live action or animated?

If it's live action, I do hope they make the right choice of girl to play Tiffany.

Indeed. Especially as I think Tiff is around 9 yrs old. 9 yr olds don't usually make very good actors.

Very exciting! Hope it all works out. :D I'm hoping it's live action.

Chance would be a fine thing built-in accent no voice coach needed.

@ Catch-up, probably not as she is a graphic artist but you never know.

Good point! I didn't really think of it in terms of what she does, only that she was trying to get the movie made.

From what I know it's going to be a mixture of live action and CGI but no desision is yet made as stated by Jason on his Discworld e-zine

Theatrical film, or another made for tv movie?

Well I suspect that it's very early days yet. Adapting a book to a script is a long way from actually making the film. :)
