English TV!

Postby Wheatie910 » Sun Aug 05, 2012 6:06 pm

As much as I love a good hard hitting American action film like Expendables, Batman, Spiderman and do on....... I still in love with English TV, Films and books. Like Faulty Towers, Dads Army, Bottom, Young Ones, The League of Gentlemen, Only fouls and Horses, books from Tom Sharpe and specially Sir Terry Pratchett... But when I heard the other day on Facebook off an old friend that they are bring out Red Dwarf season 10 I was and still am very excited! I seen its out in October for all you Smeg Heads out there!!!! Apart from my wedding this year and coming up to leaving the Army soon this has to be the BEST news on par with them!!!!!!!!!

As the Cat would say Aaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!! Please feel free to leave feed back or famous Red Dwarf one liners!

Kind Regards!

I'm moving this thread to the TV and Movies forum. It won't get buried so easily there.

To be honest, I haven't watched Red Dwarf since they resurrected Kochanski. I felt like they were struggling for ideas at that stage.

I loved the series before that. :D

Yeah, Red Dwarf had it's day but I thought it was fading towards the end, and when they brought it back last year for that three-parter it didn't exactly light my rocket. It'll be hard for them to both freshen the show up and keep true to the original.
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? ~~ Oddball
