The TV has been running this marathon of House and a show called Arrow. Now I didn't really think it was the same as Green Arrow, the DC comic called the Green Arrow that makes you realise it is somewhat like Batman. I heard someone say that it was the inspiration to Batman and DC bought it up or something. Anyway, here's the poster.

It's a bit too over the top sometime but as they say, it's a good way to pass time. I have seen promos for Once Upon a Time but it didn't really appeal to me. Have you seen the promos for Utopia on Channel 4? The trailer looks fantastic and I may start binge watching it soon. The trailer is here

When there's nothing good on TV there's always good old fashioned arcade type. Especially, Pacman! I wonder if they'll make a movie of that like with the Lego Movie. It would definitely be interesting to watch!

I liked the idea but got bored with it before the end of series 1. (To be fair, I get bored with most series way before the end with only a few exceptions such as Sherlock, Elementary, Dr. Who, and Game of Thrones.) :D
The difference between fiction and reality? Fiction has to make sense.

Avengers Assemble was cheap on DVD in the supermarket so gave it a chance. Slow start to pick up all the threads of the individual plotlines leading to the assembly and, as I have seen few of the films refered to, I had to engage mild concentration to keep up . Not too taxing. The action scenes were standard Wrecking the City Centre YET AGAIN fare with the predictable outcome but i didn't watch it to be critical and will probably watch it again a time or two because it is good brainless fun and i enjoyed being entertained for a couple of hours.

It is slow to start, but the last 45mins is some of my favourite cinema of the past decade!

Can't wait for Avengers: Age of Ultron next year

Watched Guardians of the Galaxy. Second only to The Avengers in the Marvel films line-up. Not particularly deep and meaningful, but still pretty much pure distilled entertainment. Plus, as I said elsewhere, it has Zoe Saldana as a green-skinned space babe, Karen Gillian as a blue, bald cyborg, Vin Diesel as a tree...and a talking raccoon who is overly fond of fully automatic weaponry.

Guardians of the Galaxy was amazing! Very, very funny. Slightly ruined by an idiot at the back of the cinema yelling out plot points as they were about to happen towards the end

Just read today that the Americans have bought the rights to make Dirk.
Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them.

The rest of us are a bit crap.

I actually think the TV series is better than the books. :)

Went to see transformers 4 with my dad last night, really shouldn't have gotten my hopes up after Michael Bay's last 3 abominations of attempts at transformers films. At least he's consistent, in a consistently ruining Transformers kind of way!!! No consideration for the fans or original storylines really, but hey, as long as there's flash cars, even flasher car chase scenes, and massive explosions, that's what makes a great movie right? Storyline's irrelevant, right? Wrong Mr. Bay, DEAD wrong!! :( :(
