I've watched the first season of Orange Is The New Black. Wow! It's good.

Steady on now, girl.

That's ok! That means when I finish watching season 3, it's safe for me to look in on the Sherlock thread.

We watched The World's End last night...  those guys are still brilliant, although I thought the morality and general idea of the film resembled that of Hot Fuzz... which I still think is the best one of the "trilogy".
Listen.

and Hot Fuzz was filmed in Wells, not far from the Discworld Emporium so can be done as an easy day trip from most south west England locations. I stayed at the hotel featured in Hot Fuzz the last time I visited Bernard :D
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

I haven't had a chance to watch much lately but I did get to see ep 1 of Vikings with Neil Oliver. It was great! Shall definitely try and watch all in the series.

Now that I'm less depressed, I'll say that I watched an episode of The Avengers, called The Bird Who Knew Too Much. My first full episode of The Avengers, and it was bloody weird. :?

Yes, it certainly was weird, but so were a lot of shows then. I just watched, for example, the first episode of Adam Adamant, from back in the 60s. :D

Adam Adamant Lives!, eh? I'm annoyed at how the YouTube uploader called it the pilot. There was a pilot, but save for the 1902 sequences in A Vintage Year for Scoundrels, nothing of it exists any more.

One wonders whether Mike Myers ever watched Adam Adamant Lives!, and got some ideas for Austin Powers...
