I wonder how this one'll turn out...
"What have you been doing since you stole that antique TARDIS of yours, since you first landed on Skaro? Shouting 'Look at me!!! I'm not fighting a war!', while you battle the Daleks all the way through space and time."

some will like her and think she's the best yet, others will think she's okay but not great. The rest will think she's terrible. Same as every doctor and every assistant.

I remember her in Emmerdale! She played a lesbian who murdered someone - can't remember who. Anyway, she's serving life in jail, so she should be available to get out on day release and travel time and space, without anyone noticing that she's absconded!

To clarify what is happening with Doctor Who:

The plan as it stands is that DW will return in the autumn for five episodes, with the final instalment writing out Amy (yay!) and Rory (sob!l) in a fateful face-off with the Weeping Angels.

The sixth instalment of 2012 will then be that year's Christmas special, which introduces the new mystery companion, played by Jenna-Louise Coleman.

The show is then back for eight more episodes in 2013.

After that? "There'll be more episodes than just those eight," showrunner Steven Moffat confirms. "But these 14 are the ones we're making right now."

What makes you think that the next one will be any better?

Anyway, off the new series and onto the old. The BBC online shop has shown that the next DVD to be released (after Nightmare of Eden and Ace Tales) will be Death to the Daleks.

Going off on a tangent here but I would love to see a spin off movie (or movies) covering what happened during the Time Wars and what led the Doctor to wipe out the Time Lords. :D

Chris Eccleston would never do it!

Depends on how much money they threw at him. ;) Actually, I don't think it would matter too much since they could always use another incarnation of the Doctor (a future self since it's a 'Time' war, maybe) although that would probably upset many fans and Dr. Who canon.

Actually, if there was going to be a Time War story, then it'd be Paul McGann playing the Doctor, not Christopher Eccleston. It's more than likely that the regeneration happened at the end of the Time War (keep in mind that the Ninth Doctor's comments in Rose suggest that he's only recently regenerated).
