A Christmas Carol (Alistair Sim version). I seem to recall a very good animated version based on John Leech's original illustrations as well but I haven't seen it for years.

Mr Potter is just a local businessman tying to get by (And if that entails evicting George Bailey and his annoying bloody kids... Well, tough. )

Clarence is just.... Irritating. And somehow sinister, like an over-attentive uncle.

And that she won the BAFTA for best actress in a supporting role. It was a big change from horror films and really showcased her acting talent.

I think "Die Hard" is a bit of a stretch for "Christmas movies".
I think "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" could be considered a Christmas movie as well, in that case.

I don't think I could pick a fav. I do like "A Christmas Carol". The annual Frosty, Rudolph and Grinch shows are always fun to catch at Christmas. I do enjoy some of the others already mentioned as well.

Charlie and the Chocolate factory has no Christmas scene what so ever . Its not set at Christmas . Die Hard is based around a Christmas Party , at christmas with a christmas music soundtrack. Not much of a stretch really . Must be a while since you've seen either film

Charlie and the Chocolate factory was just on this weekend. I'm sure the family gave him a chocolate bar and a scarf for Christmas. ..or was it his birthday?
