I'm afraid that he's right to a degree. It's the big sell that often doesn't deliver.

But story is the thing - a low budget film with a great story will always outlive the big budget blockbuster with no story to it. :roll:

And a blockbuster with a very good story might outlast both. Not that there are that many.

But seriously, that Disney exec actually admitted that? Well, at least he justified why: it's all about the moolah, and to do that, you need to attract a large audience.
