Or then again, is Steiger playing a doctor at all, or maybe a mortician?

Is it The Loved One?

And David Brown wins! Yep, it's The Loved One. :D

Here, coincidentallly, is another screenshot with a funerary theme.

But note that I did not say that the film has such a theme.

Spot on. I didn't say it didn't have a funerary title! And it was a coincidence - I'd prepared that one long before I realised what Q's film was.

Watched The Eagle has Landed the other day, a film that does justice to the book.

Ice Station Zebra not so much, if they had followed the story of the book it would have been a greater film, its great but not what it could have been.

I think you want this thread, fids. ;)

It's my fault for giving this thread such an ambiguous name.

I'll change it.

What is that thing in the foreground? A tiara?
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? ~~ Oddball

No, it's part of a broken flask. A flask which contained something she drank to try to kill herself.

What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!
